Icelandic Retreat - Autumn/Winter 2016/17 - Baby/Layette Girls Trend

Icelandic Retreat is a Baby/Layette girls Autumn/Winter 2016/17 trend intended to cover late Winter/Christmas.  Tonal Lavenders are mixed with soft icy whites to create this soft pretty palette.  Simplistic prints are mixed with beautiful knitwear pieces and fine fabrics.  Think soft pretty and boutique!

Messy Play - Autumn/Winter 2016/17 - Baby/Layette Girls Trend

Here is another trend for Autumn/Winter 2016/17 titles Messy Play!  This is a bright, fun and playful trend intended for early Winter.  Fun multi-coloured slogans are mixed with brush stroked stripes and hand painted characters.  Its all about creating, building and making!

Play School - Autumn/Winter 2016/17 - Younger Girls Trend

Here is another trend for Autumn/Winter 2016/17 titles Play School!  This is a bright, fun and playful trend intended for early Winter.  Fun multi-coloured slogans are mixed with brush stroked stripes and hand painted characters.  Fun dress up pieces are key too!

Rebel Rules - Autumn/Winter 2016/17 - Baby/Layette Girls Trend

Rebel Rules is an edgy baby girls layette theme.  Contesting of a black and white colour palette mixed with softer tones of cream, warm and flesh pink.  Cute characters lighten the tone mixed with cute allovers with hand drawn fills.  This is an edgy but fun trend.

Rebel Rules - Autumn/Winter 2016/17 - Younger Girls Trend

Rebel rules is an edgy younger girls trend for Autumn/Winter 2016/17.  It has a simple colour palette of mainly black and white mixed with softer greige tones and mini accents of acid green and fleshy pink.  Hand drawn loose geomatics create fills for larger prints.  One colour characters appear in allover prints and and large intarsia knits.

Country Show - Autumn/Winter 2016/17 - Baby/Layette Girls Trend

Country Show is a Baby/Layette theme that trickles down from the older girls trend; Flower Market and the Younger girls trend; Autumn Allotment.  Its inspired by the change in season from Summer the Autumn and the rich colours of leaves and veg that appear at this time of year.  Warm ditsy florals are mixed with soft fur fabrics.  Beautifully illustrated warm coated creatures decorate tees.  This yea you can purchase all my trends in one trend magazine - please contact me at emikiddy@googlemail.com for details and prices.

Autumn Allotment - Autumn/Winter 2016/17 - Younger Girls Trend

Autumn Allotment is the younger girls version of the 'Flower Market' trend I posted yesterday for older girls.  It celebrates all the goings on in the garden as Summer turns to Autumn.  Think Summer florals drying and fading and Winter veg coming into season.

Flower Market - Autumn/Winter 2016/17 - Older Girls Trend

I have been researching trends for Autumn/Winter 2016/17 for a while now and am ready to share my first trend post!  This trend is for Older Girls and is called 'Flower Market'  Its designed to be a transitional A/W range intended to appear in store mid-summer so I have gone for an outdoorsy theme.  Flower Market is inspired by the goings on in the allotment and garden as Summer turns to Autumn and all the beautiful shades of colour that celebrate that time of year.  Think dried flowers, country fetes, late summer harvest and work in the allotment.  This year I am also selling all my trends together in one trend magazine - please contact me at emikiddy@googlemail.com for more details.

Spring/Summer 2016 - Younger Girls Fashion - Creature Craft Trend

So it's been a while since I have posted any trend work - in fact looking back I seem to have missed two seasons!!!  This is mainly due to the arrival of our son Alfred (born October 11th 2014)  Pregnancy was long and tiring and although life has been an absolute joy since his arrival - spare time has been few and far between.  Todays Alfred's at work with his dad - so I'm stealing some time to update my blog.  Here is a little trend I put together for SS16 - I hope there will be more to follow but no promises!  check out my instagram page to see some pics of little Alf!
